OUR ROOTS

The dental practice of Dr. Stewart Williams was opened in 1991 and was located on Brodie Lane. The practice had two dental chairs; one dental assistant worked with Dr. Williams and, in the beginning, Dr. Williams did not have a hygienist, but that quickly changed as the practice began to grow.

In the 1990s, Dr. Williams was one of a few dentists serving southwest Austin, and the primary means of contacting the office was through the Yellow Pages or stopping by the office.

In July of 2005, Dr. Williams elected to relocate the practice to its current location off of West William Cannon.

In July of 2018, the practice changed its name from Stewart Williams, DDS, to SW Austin Dental to serve southwest Austin (yes, SW are Dr. Williams’s initials).
